Founder: Ryan Arakawa
Vektor Systems has been designing high-performance surf fins for 23 years. My journey began on the island of Kauai with a vision and a sketch pad. I drew out my first template that had a unique trailing rake. This gave the fins have more drive and a smoother release. I moved back home on Oahu and worked at Island Fin Designs which allowed me to create, adapt and develop prototypes that I would make and ride after work. Fine tuning them on the North Shore in all types of waves on all types of boards. Since then, we have continuously evolved, driven by our relentless pursuit to create high performance fins to push your surfing to new levels.
Our passion for all wave riding vehicles have expanded our loyal cult following to both the bodyboarding and surf industries around the globe.
